This popular present day absinthe image features an advertisement for Vichet absinthe. Located in Pontarlier, France (the birthplace of absinthe in France), Absinthe Vichet was considered a well known absinthe distiller in its day and was a leader in advertising. This image is circa 1900 and is considered a quintessential Art Nouveau image.
