This is an original Pernod Fils absinthe bottle from the late 19th or early 20th century.

Pernod Fils was not only the first to commercially produce (via Dubied & Fils) and sell absinthe, but it was also considered the best made absinthe, using only the freshest and quality ingredients that could be found throughout Europe and Asia. Pernod Fils absinthe set the bar for excellence that most other distillers tried to obtain.
