This reproduction absinthe spoon is among 8 known originally made to celebrate the introduction of the Eiffel Tower at the Exposition Universelle, a World's Fair held in Paris, France in 1889. There are 3 spoons with same design, but with subtle differences, making the originals highly collectible. The grill of the spoon features a beautiful design of the Eiffel Tower nestled in the Champ de Mars, the park which surrounds the tower. It is an exact reproduction of a late 19th century absinthe spoon.
