Bistro tables, like this one, were made popular in Paris during France's Belle Époque. These same tables are found on the streets of France and other parts of Europe. Construction consists of solid, white marble, a traditional seamless brass band, and a cast iron stem and base. All construction of the table has been faithfully reproduced, including the undercarriage of the table, which features a 3 heavy duty steel prong which connects the tabletop to the base.

The seamless brass band has been tarnished to give the table an antiqued appearance.

 

The tables are suitable for use indoors or out. An overhang is suggested to help protect the table from the elements. If used outside, additional tarnishing may occur to the brass band.
