Bistro tables like this were made famous in Paris during France's Belle Époque. These same tables are found on the streets of France and other parts of Europe. Construction consists of solid, white marble, a traditional seamless brass band, and a cast-iron stem and base. All table construction has been faithfully reproduced, including the undercarriage of the table, which features a 3 heavy duty steel prong that connects the tabletop to the base.
The seamless brass band has been tarnished to give the table an antiqued appearance.
The tables are suitable for use indoors or out. If used outside, additional tarnishing may occur to the brass band. An overhang is suggested to help protect the table from the elements.
