The Est Glass gets its name from its popularity in the east of France. It would have been highly unusual to have found this type of glass used elsewhere other than this region.
The large, wide mouth and tall height of the glass are both typical of this style of glass. These glasses are the largest, thickest and heaviest of all absinthe glasses.
