In 1902, George C. Lunt, an engraver in the A .F. Towle & Son company, bought the business and renamed it Rogers, Lunt and Bowlen Co. In 1935, the name was changed to Lunt Silversmiths and the company has remained in family hands since the beginning. It is located at the same place it was founded, on the edge of the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts in the small town of Greenfield. Lunt's Embassy Scroll pattern was chosen by the U.S. government as its official tableware for all U.S. embassies and consulates around the world.

Tempus Fugit has commissioned this historic silverware maker to create an exclusive, limited-edition line of solid sterling silver 'in length' absinthe spoons. The Tulip Spoon is an original Tempus Fugit design, based on antique in length-spoon styles. This magnificent silver piece is first die-struck and then the three separate sections are assembled, attached, soldered and polished by hand, in the same fashion as the best original in length-spoon models. It is wonderfully balanced, functional and is sure to take a special place in your absinthe collection. This piece is hallmarked with .925 LUNT and the Tempus Fugit logo.
