Our Rattan Bistro Bar Stools are fashioned from originals found in early 20th-century France during the Belle Epoque. These stools are made using the same criteria found in bistro furniture used throughout the streets of Paris. Our quality, workmanship, and materials used are unbridled. Each piece is handmade in Indonesia – the birthplace of the rattan bistro chair. Although Paris made the Bistro table and chair famous, Indonesia made it possible.
Our weaving material is a high-quality, virgin HDPE (high-density polyethylene). HDPE is a highly sought-after plastic material for use in outdoor applications, as it is UV resistant, impervious to mold and mildew, resistant to extreme temperatures (heat and cold), and waterproof. Virgin HDPE also offers excellent impact resistance and a high tension strength. It is easy to clean using a mild soap detergent with a soft sponge and rinse with water.
HDPE plastic is the most environmentally stable of all plastics – giving off no harmful fumes into the environment. Manufacturing HDPE plastics requires only a fraction of the energy required to produce steel from iron ore, further contributing to its Eco-friendly classification.
Restaurants, bars, and hotels - All of our rattan products are customizable by colors and weave for orders over 20 pieces or more of the same item.
